If I’m not perfect, I’m not good enough

So many people I’ve worked with over the years have struggled with perfectionism. The belief often sounds like this: “If I’m not perfect, then I’m not good enough.”
That “not good enough” story can show up in so many ways. Maybe you feel like you can’t share your work until it’s flawless. Or perhaps you keep waiting for the “right” moment to move forward.
Here’s the truth: perfectionism isn’t real, and it isn’t human. There is no such thing as a perfect person.
What matters most is allowing yourself to know that you already have what it takes. You are good enough just as you are. When you let go of the need to be perfect, you free yourself to move forward.
If you stay in the mindset of “I’ll do it when it’s just right,” you may be waiting for the rest of your life.
Instead, remember this: it’s always better to get it done than to wait for it to be perfect.
